Mutirão at the City Level – How Climate Action Weeks & Town Hall COPs are Accelerating Local Climate Action
At a time when the COP30 focus on Mutirão (collective action) and implementation are taking centre stage, you are warmly invited to a hybrid Local Leaders Dialogue on how the emergence of Climate Action Weeks and Town Hall COPs around the world is creating dynamic new platforms for collective action.
Organised to coincide with the COP30 Local Leaders Forum in Rio de Janeiro, come hear from some of the people involved with Climate Action Weeks in Rio de Janeiro, London, Baku, Bangkok, Sydney and debut cities planning for CAWs in 2026, along with initiatives such as the Town Hall COPs, coordinated by ICLEI. Light lunch refreshments will be provided.
