This event, hosted by the\u202fMinistry of Finance and supported by Directorate for the Development of Public Management and Educational Policies of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Get\u00falio Vargas (FGV-DGPE), will take stock of the PTE\u2019s achievements, address persistent challenges, and outline Brazil\u2019s strategic priorities for COP30\u2014particularly in advancing climate finance, just transition frameworks, and international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion will highlight how Brazil has emerged as a leader in\u202fgreen economic policy, from sovereign sustainability bonds to its pioneering\u202fBrazilian Sustainable Taxonomy\u202fand interoperability of carbon markets. Yet scaling these efforts requires deeper engagement with the private sector and civil society. The event will also serve as a platform to launch the\u202fPTE Public Monitoring Dashboard, a transparency tool to track progress, and explore the\u202f$1.3 trillion Baku-Bel\u00e9m Roadmap, which aims to align global finance with climate goals.<\/p>\n<p>Thematic Focus:<br \/>\nThe event will feature two high-level panels. The first,\u202f&#8221;New Brazil: Two years of transforming the economy for fair and sustainable development,&#8221;\u202fwill assess the PTE\u2019s institutional and economic impacts, including regulatory milestones and lessons learned. The second,\u202f&#8221;Towards COP30: Novo Brasil&#8217;s contributions to global climate ambitions,&#8221;\u202fwill focus on Brazil\u2019s role in mobilizing climate finance, fostering carbon market interoperability, and ensuring an inclusive transition.
