The “Pre-COP30 Parliamentary Forum” will bring together Members of Parliaments and experts from around the world, to strategise and share experiences on how to enhance national climate plans (NDCs 3.0), and help advance the COP30 Presidency’s Action Agenda.

Guided by the COP30 Action Agenda’s six themes, the Forum will focus on how parliamentarians around the world are helping to deliver their objectives.

⚖️ The ICJ Ruling on Climate Change

🇺🇳 Parliamentarians as a Constituency at the UNFCCC

📚 Launch of Portugese edition of “Parliamentary Guide to Climate Change”

📚 Launch of “Parliamentary Guide to Articles 6 and Carbon Markets”

📚 Launch of “Parliamentary Engagement in NDCs 3.0”

This hybrid event will provide an accessible platform for engagement in the COP30 process by Members of Parliament.

Organized by GLOBE Legislators, in partnership with Plataforma CIPÓ, Clima de Política, OPCC, and other prominent regional networks, the Forum will be hosted by the Câmara dos Veredores do Rio de Janeiro, at Palácio Pedro Ernesto.
