This 90-minute event will explore how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and strategic financing can boost urban climate resilience in Brazil. It will be opened by a representative of Rio de Janeiro Prefeitura followed by two 10-minute presentations:
Boticario Group Foundation will showcase its “Nature Solution Program,” which empowers Brazilian cities to scale NBS by strengthening capacity, fostering investment, and shaping policy.
Nature & People Foundation will introduce its Urban Biodiversity Standard and Urban Biodiversity Credits, explaining how these instruments are designed to draw private investment for urban nature, with a focus on a pilot project in Rio de Janeiro.
A panel discussion will follow, including the experts:
